 本名、「村井　直人」。１９４６年８月１３日、京都府舞鶴市に生まれる。１９６４京都府立

東舞鶴高等学校卒業。１９６８年北九州大学（現北九州市立大学）外国語学部米英学科卒

業。１９７０年日本ルーテル神学大学（現ルーテル学院大学）神学部神学科卒業。１９７３年

日本神学校神学部神学科卒業。１９７５年東京神学大学大学院神学部神学科（組織神学

専攻）修士課程修了。１９７７年より、私立明星中学・高等学校勤務。著作は以下の通り。
